...and here it comes!

Well, we keep hearing about the "big" snow storm headed our way. The sky is really dark in the west so I'm beginning to think the rumor may be true. Depending on who you listen to we could have 1 -3 inches or 7 - 14 inches. Only mother nature knows for sure. I think we're ready either way. There's gas in the snow blower and food in the frig. I think we'll survive. We'll stay in touch with Grandma and Grandpa and make sure they're shoveled out. You probably heard that their water supply was interrupted yesterday. We took some bottles of water over and played some Eucher. We each won a game. The snow was really flying when we left. We saw the results of several accidents on the way home but this morning there was very little snow on the ground. I hear WI is going to get hammered. Good Luck!!

Mom gave me this card for valentines day. You gotta love 2 Golden Retriever pups sleeping. Thought you'd enjoy too.

The last picture was taken this past summer when Jacob graduated from high school. As you can see, he looks a little different after graduating from Marine Corp boot camp. Congratulations Jacob.

Rockford Snow Sculpture

Last weekend we got up early and went to see the snow sculptures at Sinnissippi Park. We walked the entire park even though it was a little chill. When we got there most of the artists were still working on their projects. It was interesting to see them in action (so to speak). Here are some of the pictures I took. I put the rest of them on Shutterfly if you want to take a look.

Speaking of Christmas Gifts

Would you please tell Ken and Debbie thanks for the cookies? Also, if I send the jar back can I get a refill? They were absolutely delicious.

Thanks for the Christmas Gift

Good Morning Girls! Thanks for the clock / temp gauge you gave me for Christmas. As you can see the temperature outside is -7. I don't know what the wind speed or wind chill factor is but it doesn't really matter when it's already this cold.
