I'm not sure if I ever shared these photos with you or not. I made a CD for you and put it into a card but again not sure what happened with it. Anyway, I was looking for a photo of Carol Magin and the two girls that I took a couple years ago for the church directory. He's been ill and not attending church so I thought he might enjoy it. I also found these so I posted them on Zenfolio. Maybe Ken, Debbie, Ryan and Sara would want to see them too. Bethany and I took one last tour of the campus at the end of her last semester. I have those photos too if you're interested.

snow snow snow

hey! yeah ill take a few more pictures to post. the weather has just been so bad! but brandon really likes his car and now he doesnt have to scrape out the iNSIDE of his car as well as the outside. i also cut my hair. it was time for a change. its a little more work in the morning but i think i like it.

Blog that new car and Hello from Dad

Good Morning girls,
I got your phone pic last night, Lisa. Looks like a cool car. Why don't you post a few pictures so we can get a better look? Does it have cloth or leather? 4 or 6 banger? What kind of mileage does it get? Fill us in on the details.

I went to the CSUMC Cabaret with mom last Friday. You know how she loves to sing and perform well, Friday night she was in 75% of the acts. People love to have her perform with them. She played in the bells and choir (as expected) and then with half a dozen others. She didn't sit down much I know that. She's been fighting a cold and losing for several days. Last night I think it got a little worse. She was up several times with some serious coughing.

Thanks for taking the time to call home. She loves to hear from her girls. We were getting ready to eat last night (navy bean soup yummy) when Bethany called. I chatted with her for a few minutes and passed off the phone to mom. Mom had dished out mine but put hers back in the pot so she wouldn't feel rushed talking to Bethany.

Bethany...did Matt have a good time at the Ice Hogs game the last time? Would he like to go again this Friday? Is there something else he would prefer? Movie?

Rock River Ice Jam

The Rock River continues to freeze, break up and refreeze. One of the women I work with lives on the river. The river hasn't gotten high enough to flood her place but she told us about the ice jams. I went down to the river last Sunday and walked from the Library to the dam.How appropriate!
The geese and the ducks are still there. Most are sitting up on the ice jams but a few are still swimming in what little open water there is.
The ice is almost to the bottom of the State St. bridge.
This is a view of the river from the ice house. There is a lot of ice that stretches from the dam back up the river for several miles. It'll be interesting to see what happens when it starts to melt.
