Good Morning Jan and Girls,
I made it to AZ yesterday. The flight was good. I don't have any horror stories to tell. I got to the plant around noon and worked until 6PM AZ time. We left Rockford around 6AM so it was a long day. I am really impressed with the rooms Gary and Cheryl reserved for the team at the Holiday Inn Express. As you can see, there is a bathroom, a"front room" with desk and a bedroom with 2 Queen size beds. I can throw crap everywhere.

The hotel has a workout room so I got up this morning and worked out for about an hour. Of course, after eating at Red Lobster last night I should still be working out. It was a great meal as always.

I'll try to keep you updated as the week goes along. Bethany and Lisa, be sure to call mom. I like to think she get lonely without me. LOL.

Well, I'm off to breakfast with the guys and then we'll leave for the plant. Love ya, Dad.

Hi girls,
If you like yellow, you'll like this one. I snapped a quick shot of one of Dave's sunflowers the other day and I didn't even get stung. Hope you're well. Congrats Bethany. Certifications are always good to have.

Haven't heard back from Textron, Lisa. Good Luck with the job search. Love ya, Mom and Dad

Mesa Trip and HP

HI Bethany and Lisa. We receive the HP books yesterday. Bethany has her book and Lisa's will be on it's way shortly. While I was in Mesa, I saw these hummingbirds. It was really hot but I went out one morning and got a couple pictures. See you soon.

MIrror Lake State Park

Imagine that...we went to a cubs game and they actually won!

The week went by quickly with both of us trying to catch up with work. Yesterday we went to Mirror Lake State Park. We signed up for a couple events that the WI DNR puts on last March and the first one was yesterday. We have another one in October. The hike was straight into the woods, no trail to follow. It focused on invasive species. I took a couple pictures just to give you a feel for the trip. Mom didn't really like it but I bought her ice cream at Culver's afterwards and that made up for it.

On the way home we took a side trip to visit Devil's Head resort. The country side is beautiful.

We saw hundreds of plants and I can't remember any of the names. Next time we'll bring a pad and pencil.

I risked my life climbing down a ravine to see these bluffs. It was a very steep climb on sandstone. I'm not sure I would do it again. Got the shot though.

Mom and I couldn't remember the name of this flower. I think it's an orchid called Pink Moccasin but I could be wrong.

Our guide Matt.

Matt was really into this. In the picture he's holding several books that he brought on the hike. They are tattered and torn but I got the feeling he wouldn't leave home without them.

We have lots of chores to do today so we'll end this and get to work. Talk to you later.

Zenfolio

Hi Girls. I created a new photo gallery on a website called Zenfolio. Tim Gorman told me about this site and I finally decided to give it a try. I still have photo's on Shutterfly but most of my new stuff will go on Z. You can order prints if you like which was one of the reasons I waited to sign up. I added the link to this site so if you want to visit all you have to do is click it.
